This may not of helped this guy out but, this is the way I craft. Maybe this will help some of you out??? Let me know what you think.

I have to disagree with Ricassari, I have no trouble at all with my Scholar/Alchy making T2 Jewelry Pristines. You simply are not doing it right, and as far as mana consumption that is one of the skills that require the least of mana consumption. I can give you my methods of using the counters and you will see that you too can make all the pristines your heart desires. LOL, now I feel like a late night infomercial on "How to Create Pristine EQ2 Jewlery in just 7 easy steps", LOL ROFL LMAO!!! I just had to throw that in there, haha!

But seriously now, you can make Pristines I know you can, If my toon can so can yours. Here are a few examples.

Okies this is how I set my Reactions on the hot bar from left to right and the other tiers will go right below them on different hot bars as you grow in your trade.

Hot Bar #1: Round Brilliant Cut......Focus of Spirit......Mind Over Matter Tier #1
Hot Bar #2 Square Cut.................Center of Spirit......Telekenesis Tier#2

Okies lets say that you are crafting and along comes an action of.... Major Magical Anomaly

The Reactions I would use to counter this is in this order is..... Telekenesis.....Center Of Spirt.....Square Cut

Then the next Action that happens is this.....Major Magical Influx

I would then use in the following order.....Telekenesis.....Square Cut.....Center of Spirt

Then the next Action that happens is this.....Impurities

I would then use in the following order.....Square Cut.....Center of Spirit.....Telekenesis

These are just a few examples that I can share with you, I hope this helps. Try out these combos and you will start getting the hang of it. There are many combos to use, far to many for me to list them all. If something aint working then try a different combo, mix it up and you will see that you will find your groove.

Thanks Gazzy I will sure give it a try.
On some of my item components I get 20/20 pristines..never once using a combination of counters. I use the counter that will fix the problem , the icon that pops up to the right in the square box. I never even imagined that you could use 3 different counters for one icon problem. go figure.
