I am driving from Redding, California (96003) to Virginia (24354) and back.

Anyone have travel tips? Suggested stops?

VEGAS BABY!!!

Well, Pittsburgh is a yucky town, but a lot of people find it fascinating.

When you are in VA, steer waaayyy clear of I95 unless you have a puptent, a couple days worth of snacks/drinks and an endless supply of reading materials. The traffic never moves on 95.

PA has Gettysburg, which would be awesome.

I think you should keep driving once you get to VA till you hit the Outer Banks of North Carolina (OBX) since it's my absolute favorite place in the world.

Well Murt, I got to Vegas (Craig Street) and had to turn around.

My grandma died and I have to fly back home instead.

She was 86 and had one of those Living Wills.

It's okay. No condolences needed. I can visit those other cities any time. Now it is time to rush home on a plane.
