Well the Tradeskill Strike is on at the server and tradeskill instance (permafrost server/stalwart society) I play on. Lets look at these drastic fuel prices that drove away the masses. To the left you will see SOE's price changes, to the right of those prices are the prices I would like to propose the Dev's please consider changing too.
- All tradeskill recipes now require a new type of fuel at each 10-level range. Fuel cost increases with level. - Base level 0 - 4c Proposed Change- Base Level 0- 4cp - Base level 10 - 14c Proposed Change- Base Level 10- 14cp - Base level 20 - 58c Proposed Change- Base Level 20- 32cp - Base level 30 - 2s 30c Proposed Change- Base Level 30- 96cp - Base level 40 - 9s 22c Proposed Change- Base Level 40- 2sp 22cp
- Culinary recipes use different types of fuel that are less expensive: - Base level 0 - 1c (Walnut Kindling) Same as to the left - Base level 10 - 4c (Mulberry Kindling) Same as to the left - Base level 20 - 14c (Cherry Kindling) Same as to the left - Base level 30 - 55c (Hickory Kindling) Same as to the left - Base level 40 - 2s 21c (Mesquite Kindling) Proposed Change- Base Level 40- 1sp 34cp (Mesquite Kindling)
I think this is a good proposal that people can live with without gouging us to death on the costs of fuels. It is very hard for a T2 Crafter when he or she has to spend 11sp 60cp per stack of fuel. That alone can very quickly put you right in the poor house. Please reconsider the fuel costs for us dedicated crafters and bring back the masses to the shops so we can all live in harmony again.
Personally, I don't understand why everyone feels the need to segregate the crafters and make the fuel for provisioners less expensive.
I think they should make all the fuel the same price for everyone, and it should be lesser to about your proposed prices for culinary recipes.
The price hikes they instituted are outrageous, and as you can tell by the 3000+ upset posts on the forums of people quitting EQ2, already quit, or are giving them a week to fix it.

I have to completely agree with brother Murt on this one, which is why I have only crafted 1 box since the patch and the only reason why I did it was because I needed the space after harvesting. Even with the above prices, I still won't craft. When all of the fuels are the same for everyone and when I can get a profit from what I make then I will be crafting again, but not until then.
