There's another big patch coming this Tuesday. Everyone will need to have DirectX 9.0c.

"I already have DX9.0c" you say. But there's a catch. You need the April 2006 version of DX9.0c. I know, they should have called it DX9.0d. But they didn't. Instructions on how to get the April 2006 version are in the file DXUpgrade.txt in your EQ directory. It's pretty easy.
