Almost everything marked as Treasured or higher. App IV scrolls do not count. And no Handcrafted items count, but Mastercrafted does count. I was raising my Dwarves Transmuting, he's up to skill level 18 or so now, but I can send you the stuff I was going to use for him. Transmuting can be very expensive and we should really only try to push one person for it since at higher levels it gets incredibly expensive.
