Returning to Camelot from a long trip, Kenweth senses something isn't right. Pausing on the trail he listens. The birds are quiet. Stinging his bow he once again starts moving in the direction of the camp. A heard of deer bound quickly across the trail ahead of him. Relizing something has spooked them, he begins to back track their trail though the forest. Thinking it nothing but a rampaging bear, little dose he relize what awaits for him and the rest of the knights.

Augustus stirs from his tower-top guard-post listening as a low rumble crosses the midnight horizon. Horses and men are approaching. He grasps his crossbow tightly taking a bead on the approaching enemy.
Thinking better, he reaches over and pulls the rope for a silent alarm. He hears the shuffle of sleeping troops awakeneing and arming.

Areleth rises quikly and dons his armor as the master-at-arms awakens everyone in response to Augustus' silent call. Rushing up to the battlements he approaches the elder Knight. "What approaches Lord Augustus? Be they thanksgiving guests arrived early or party crashers?".
